2025 Twins Camp Reunion Event is Another Hit!

It was another beautiful day for baseball!

The Minnesota Twins Fantasy Camp held it’s annual reunion games inside Target Field on another gorgeous day on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. Approximately 65 veteran and rookie campers pre-registered to enjoy one of the most beautiful ball parks in all of Major League Baseball. The annual reunion event continues to be one of the most popular days on the Twins Camp Calendar.

Registration was held in the third baseline lounge at Target, where rookie campers were issued their temporary uniform for the day, along with a belt, socks and fitted hat that they will bring with them to Florida in January. Campers sign a waiver form prior to play and many were joined by friends and family members who were on hand to watch their favorite baseball player.

At this year’s event, campers from ten states were on hand to capture a truly “big league” experience. Campers from Minnesota, Iowa, Texas, Florida, California, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Arizona, New York, and Georgia made the pilgrimage to Target to live the dream.

Again this year, registered campers were divided into four different teams and two games were played. According to Camp Director, Stan Dickman, “Our goal is make sure that first time players to Target get priority and that we can get everyone playing at least two at bats.” Some minor adjustments are made to the rules in order to maximize the available time provided for the games.

“One of the most gratifying things about this event, is to see our first time participants enjoy the experience, said Dickman. It’s always humbling to see how our veteran campers step up to take charge and provide management and leadership to the four teams. We owe them a huge thank you!”

Following the games, the fun continued when many of the campers and their guests gathered at the Sports Page Grill in Bloomington. Again this year, Becky and her team at the Page provided a delicious buffet of pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, chicken drummies and onion rings. The hospitality we receive at the Sports Page is second to none!

Twins Campers on Hand in North Carolina for a Blue Crab-Rockers Match Up!

A contingent of Twins Campers traveled to North Carolina this summer to cheer on a pair of their favorite Independent League coaches. Twins Camp Partners Again with Max Bats!

The Minnesota Twins Fantasy Camp and one of Minnesota’s premier bat manufacturers, MaxBats, Inc., are pleased to announce that they are again partnering for the 2026 camp to provide campers with an exclusive discount on Max Bats and Equipment.

Twins Campers Eligible for Rental Car Discount

Again in 2026, we are happy announce that we are again partnering with Enterprise and National Car Rental to provide our campers with a rental car discount of 10% should they wish to rent a car for camp week.

To receive this discount at either the Enterprise or National sites, log on to enterprise.com or www.nationalcar.com and use the Account word TWINS. Campers will need to pick up and return their rentals at the airport.

The Hotel will again be offering round-trip shuttle service from the airport to their property. The Camp will also be offering daily shuttle service for campers from the hotel to the baseball complex.

Twins Camp Championship Games to Again be Streamed With Walsh Media!

The Twins Camp is happy to again announce that our Camp Championship games, as well as the Rookie vs. Pro Staff game will again be live streamed over the internet with our partnership with Walsh Media. Walsh Media is a Twin Cities based communication company that specializes in live streaming local sports activities in the Minneapolis-St Paul area.

The Red & Blue Division Championship games that will be played inside Hammond Stadium on Saturday morning and early afternoon the 11th, as well as the Pro-Camper game on the afternoon of Friday, the 10th, will all be broadcast. This will allow your friends and neighbors to link in and watch the action from Florida live as it unfolds.

Been Thinking about a Return to Twins Camp?

As you had no doubt read in our last issue of the Fantasy Forum, the Camp had been in a sold out position for the past several months.

However, due to some late cancellations due to injuries, health, personal and business related issues, we would have room in January’s Camp for a few additional campers.

Because we now have to place our uniform order for the January camp by May 1st, securing a uniform for January’s camp would be a difficult, if not impossible challenge.

However, if you’re a camp veteran that already has a uniform and might have been considering a return, we certainly welcome you to reach out as soon as possible. To get campers included in the 2026 Camper Playbook, we would need to hear from you no later than Monday, December 1st.
